Hatha Yoga helps us to balance and unify polar opposites. Breath is the foundation of this asana practice. Each class begins with a short grounding meditation, followed by warming practices in preparation for Sun Salutations. Next we move into Asana practice, including standing, balancing, kneeling and sitting, laying supine, inversion, laying prone and back bending, twisting, and forward folds. Wrapping up Asana practice with Shavasana before concluding with Pranayama and silent sitting. Appropriate for students with 6 months yoga experience or athletic beginners.
